yomondo I don't remember if there were any JK's out on this run that are still running street tires, but if there are any of you out there, I've got my used stock Rubi tires and wheels (all five of them) that are becoming an eye-sore in my back yard. The most worn of them has maybe 15k miles left on it. What used to be my spare is practically new, with only about 500 miles on it. The others have maybe 20k-25k miles left on them. Wheels have rock rash marks on them. Tires and wheels, balanced and with TPMS sensors on them. If anybody wants them, hit me up. They won't be free, but pretty close.

530ktm Back on track here, it was another fun trip. It took a little longer than I thought it would as we never made it to the creek. The beginning of the trail at Deep Creek is kind of a challenge too but maybe next time. Thanks Beantown for getting this set up and looking forward to the next get together.

Hey Schmo, we were up there watching you guys torture yourselves going up the waterfall. I do not remember which bike you were on but that was us. You should have been there in your Jeep, we had a good time. I would much rather run that trail in my Jeep than on my bike as I have tried it before. I much prefer riding my bike in the desert.

dadek Thanks to everyone. I had an awesome time. Looking forward to next time!!

Just re-read my post. Boy, I must have been tired. Bad typos.

Thanks to the trail leaders for leading us through, and to the spotters for all your help.

Yah, I'm still sad about that. We had some good times wheeling together.

Oh bummer! Worse than I thought. I did that once, and it's because of that, that I'm reluctant to air down below 15 especially with my heavy JK/bumpers/winch/rock rails/etc.

JRickW It was a wonderful, but bittersweet day. As some of you know, I will be selling my jeep soon. So this was my last run. Glad it was such a great one!

The best: the people. The worst: my "popped bead" turned out to be a cut sidewall.

Special thanks to Beantown for letting me know about this run. An EXTRA special thank you to Yomondo for feeding me! It was amazing.

Hopefully I'll ride along on some future runs just to hang with such a great group.

Later,

Rick

Yes! You asked me if we were part of a club or what. When you told me your name on the forum was "schmo" I couldn't remember where I recognized the name from. It hit me later, I see you on MJR a lot.

One more thank you to everyone out there. Dishpan was a blast, no real damage was done. Just some bumps, scratches, and one JK blew a bead coming down the waterfall.

A few of us also ran Jacoby Canyon on Saturday night. HID's blaring, laughing, bouncing around. It was a really fun mellow run. Kyle, Johar and I ended up running it the opposite way on our way out today. Got some cool pics.

Can't wait to do it again you guys. Take care.

turdhurdler Just made it in from camping and wheeling. I had a blast. Glad everyone made it and we got out without any real damage. Gold Mtn backward was great and everyone got through with a little persuasion. Special kudos to the guy with the F-250 Super Dooky (I forgot your name, sorry). You tackled every obsticle and kept coming for more.

teamhirev I wanted to thank everyone that went to the Dishpan side. I would have not made it with out you guys. Everyone was very helpful in every aspect of the trip it was a blast. Dishpan was a difficult obstacle but with the help of everyone it was no match. Thanks again guys hope we can meet again!!!

Whodini Just wanted to tell everyone 'Thanks' for helping us stockers conquer the two trails. MAN IT WAS FUN!!! My son loved it. He couldn't stop talking about it when we got home. Great meeting all of you; Darin, Josh (and group), Bob & Joy, Jeff & Bandit -- you guys really made the trip!

I learned so much about the capabilities of my stock Jeep. I've got a few love bites on the her, but the way I see it, they add character to her!!! I'm gonna do some modifications to her and then bring her back out. I look forward to seeing you all again!
05-21-2011 11:51 PM
darin.1701 I want to thank all of you for welcoming myself and the other noobs.

Special thanks to Bob and Jeff for taking us stockers to White Mountain and Gold Mountain. I had a blast, and learned a lot. I am looking forward to hearing the stories from everyone.

I will post pics in a day or two.
