1995yj318 tighten up the fuse box then check the ignition switch on the side of the column under the dash it can cause all kinds of funky problems when it starts to go out.

'91 Wrangler electrical? engine problems

Hi everyone,
I'm having a problem with my Jeep and am hoping to get some guidance. You guys helped alot last time, so I'm trying again. :-) I just put in a new starter and everything has been working great. Yesterday, however, I had another setback. I've been having some electrical problems for awhile with the windshield wipers and a loose fuse box, but nothing that I thought was serious, just an annoyance. I started the engine and the wipers wouldn't work. I wiggled the fuse box, but still no wipers. I gave up and was getting ready to drive away when the engine suddenly cut off on its own and wouldn't start back up. There's a distinct clicking noise when I turn the ignition, but other than that, absolutely nothing. Ironically enough, when I got back from work, the windshield wipers were running, without the jeep even being turned on. Weird all around. Any ideas on why the engine would have cut out on me and now won't start? Could this have anything to do with the new starter? Any links between the wiper issues (and btw, radio issues sometimes too; radio just turns on and off on its own) and the engine problems? Any thoughts or assistance will be awesome!
Thanks!!
