getting any codes/chk engine light?
my cam shaft sensor went out a few weeks ago but it did throw a code and CE light came on. was running when the CE light came on-turned it off/on to see if it cleared and nothing but turn over, don't know if it would have died if i would have tried to drive it. was a fine 1 min, dead the next. if it is that and you go to an auto store that can't find it as a cam position sensor, try ingition sensor-seems to be what their computers call it. also if you do need one, take the old one if possible-there are different connectors on them(got the wrong 1 first of course)

|C.L.||Fuel pump? Pull off the air intake and have someone spray starter fluid in there while it cranks. If it catches on that, at least you know you have spark/timing.|

|Jerry Bransford||Yes the crankposition sensor can cause that and no the Sentry key system will not. The Sentry system will at least let the engine start and run for 1-2 seconds before killing the engine if it decides the right key was not used to start it.|

Stopped running going down the road
2004 Rubicon: Wife was traveling down the road when the jeep just quite.
Jeep will crank but does not start.
1. Will the Sentry Key System cause this?
2. Will a bad crank shaft position sensor cause this?
