superduty_5.9 I looked at that site Rebuilt AX15 Transmission - AX15 For Sale $745 + $200 core. A rebuild kit will cost you $200 and you would have to be able to do the work. So the $745 don't sound too unreasonable. I would find a good local shop to rebuild for you so down time wouldn't be an issue and if you have problems then you could handle them easier. It should also be cheaper.

Hello All, has anyone ever bought a transmission from smart parts auto on the internet. Looking to buy an AX15, and this company seems to have a good price. Just looking to hear from others b4 I buy one there. Or if someone has some input on where to buy a rebuilt trans. Thanks, Matt
