Good story. It's very true that you really just have to own one to understand.

Hey there Jeep community

Hey guys I just bought a jeep a few months ago and should start off by saying, "I love my Jeep''! I've owned trucks before this but nothing compares to dropping the top and crawlin through some mud. I've been stalking the forums for a while now, but decided it was time to join and meet some local clubs to go mudding with. Anyway I wanted to share with everyone an experience I had recently... Being that I live in florida, and its summer time, having a leaky vehicle might cause some people serious stress. During a two day rain storm I forced myself out of my warm and dry dorm to go run some errands. As I opened my jeep door and looked at the floor I questioned why so many people pay so much money to have a pool put in their yard. As I drove away, water sloshing higher with every shift I decided it would be best to start bailing water at red lights. ( carpet and inexperience to how awesome jeeps are, I was unaware of my drain plugs) I can only imagine the things people were thinking as water was repeatedly spewing from the passenger window as I tenaciously bailed only slightly faster than the rate at which it was pouring in. A woman in a brand new car (window stickers and all) drives up and tells me "aw you poor thing, it must be awful owning a jeep". Looking at her in disbelief, but with a smile on my face I realized, it must be a jeep thing
