Really need to call to make sure it's open when you go.

|whiteyj||ROBSMST.....Hollister closed? Was this for a particular reason or permanently?|

Will do. Also checkout the group San Jose Offroad on meetups.com
We are trying to get down to Hollister once per month.
Between Carnegie and Hollister we should be able to go a couple times a month to decent off road areas. All others are 3+ hours from Bay Area it seems while these 1:15 tops.

|mattm||I'd be interested in going as well. Just picked up mine tonight. We both need a bit of a break-in/get acquainted period. If any of you put together a run please post something here or in the California forum.|

Oh that's sweet. I didn't know we had another place to go!
Looks like fun.
Shoot me a PM if you ever want to add another jeep to the caravan

Between Livermore and Tracy on Tesla Rd/Corral Hollow Rd
Once you are at Carnegie go to Ranger Station. Through it to Stop sign. Make left and continue until you have to cross creek on right. Cross creek and go left all the way to the end where you will see sign for obstacle course.
Let me know when you go. Perhaps I can make it along with a couple of other local Jeeps.

OMG...I want to go there. I am in the east bay but didn't know that Carnegie has an obstacle like this. Do you have the direction to this specific place?

|530ktm||Your Jeep will do a lot more than you would think. Being a Rubicon, it will most likely scare you for a while until you get the courage and experience. Enjoy it and have fun.|

Hollister closed, went to Carnegie instead
I still consider myself a beginner at this. Learned a lot about my Jeep today. It was a good day. Starting to get a feel for her capabilities.
