Lenora2oo3 I know I should have done a little more digging into it, but I did get it for about $8k less that it should have been listed for and I was able to get the dealer to knock off more.

It is my every day driver and I am currently saving to purchase another that is for fun. I didn't realize Jeeps were two-wheel drive till I owned it. On the way home I asked my dad how you turned on the 4-Wheel drive (living on a farm when I was younger you never turned it off so turning it on was a new idea) and he informed me I bought a 2 wheel drive. YEAH for that dumb blonde moment!

rockhard98 I'm to broke and know better then to get something that new... I enjoy working on my rigs lol Damn computer controlled rigs anyway...

No but seriously I'm still used to older rigs and don't know much about the new ones, so to hear jeep started making 2 wheel drives was a bit of a shock

Of I remember correctly a couple years after the JKU was first produced they offer some with 2wd only. Why? I have no idea.

I don't know anyone with a Jeep, so I have to ask all of you and I would rather ask then pretend to know what I'm talking about. So, here's the question: I have been reading many threads and trying to figure out what the abbreviations are (JK, YT, etc).

Please don't laugh at me.

Dumb Newby Question, but...

I am really new to the whole Jeep world. I bought my first one a year ago February. I have been a huge admirer for many years, but from afar. I was stuck with a Nissan Sentra that had more problems than I could imagine, but was paid for.

When I could finally trade it in and get what I wanted I found my Jeep. It is a 2008 Unlimited. I live in Houston and drive at least an hour each way between work and home, so I started slow. She is automatic and 2-Wheel drive. Nothing Fancy, but I love her!!!!
