Undead-89 make wood box to either cover that part or cover the whole floor I think a 2x4 sideways would be tall enough (measure first).

Put the 4 2x4s into the shape of a square the size of you floor and crew on a piece of 1/2 or thicker plywood. Home Depot and other hardware/carpet stores sell that nylon carpet similar to the original for around 69 cents a foot in bulk for gray. Staple that over the top to the sides and drop it in there. The nice thing is you now have storage under the dogs.

tumble seat mounts not good for dogs

I'm hoping someone can help me... This is the first year we have three dogs, a lab mix, rot mix, and a small collie mix. My hubby had the idea to remove the back seat to make room for everyone, and it worked for the most part. All three dogs could not lay down due to the tumble seat mounting brackets (hooks?). From what we can see, the hooks dont lay down and they cant be pulled out. Anyone have a suggestion on how to cover them? We have a two-legged child too, so eventually we will need to put the back seat back in the Jeep http://www.wranglerforum.com/images/smilies/smile.gif Thank you!!
