No Wranglers in China Due to Fires

I am willing to bet most of you have seen this:

Report: China suspends Jeep Wrangler importation over safety concerns — Autoblog

China is no longer allowing Wranglers to be imported due to safety concerns stemming from them catching fire, due to the transmission.

Any thoughts as to whether or not this will affect, or even change things on this side of the water. I really want Jeep to get their stuff together and install transmission coolers under warranty/recall.
