I want to go with the entire instrument panel, including turn signals etc, the HVAC controls, the steering wheel control, and the automatic gear lights. I have found a lot of info on the instruments and the hvac but havent found anything on the steering wheel or the drive. Exactly how many bulbs do I need to change all the lights to match? I havent seen many interior mods on the '11+ models. Thank you for your help!!

Schuttr Nieve question on 98 TJ, do I have to install / rewrite other base sockets for LED? The don't seem to have the same uh in type connector at base. Also, is warning about " headlamps are not suitable for night time driving accurate?" Seems counter productive to change out.

Xikky would this work on a 97 tj? or are the lights different?

jacetheace Just got these done....I'm pretty happy with them.

Red is kinda hard to take a pic of....especially with a cell phone.

But they look real good....trust me.

I'll probably just say screw it order a set of blue domes from superbright, the white freaks me out just a bit.
... I have the same feeling. The previous owner installed white LED's in the dome's and they can and will wake you from a deep sleep. I have a love/hate relationship (mainly love) for them.

Neil F. They will step down a little with the dimmer control. The dimming is not linear and does not go down much. I like them fully bright anyway.

silver rubi is there any way to make these dim?

Sammy91683 Ahaha well ya, but I can't find the right size bulb
I have 89's in my 98 TJ
They have them, but they only come in white and stuff
I'm on superbrightleds.com

KidRock171 Remove plastic cap. Remove bulb. Insert led. Throw away plastic cap.
??

Sammy91683 How did you do the under-dash lights?

Doing my friends dash I mixed blue with those purple lights from V-Leds and while it does look cool, I thought the purple could have been a little brighter. It can make for some frustrating situations when passing under lights at night due to the lack of brightness. I'll see if I can try to get some pics of her setup and post them tomorrow to give you an idea. Just be warned, the color that is pictured isn't exactly the color that you will see.

I'm not sure about black light backings, I'm not even sure where you would find that; but I know superbrightleds.com offers the color purple on all the bulbs you'll need to replace. As good as the blue turned out, I would imagine the purple would be pretty cool as well.
