yj trey its defenitly the drain tube for your hood vent i went to a mud bog with the sundowners 4x4 last week and same thing happend to me the next day pulled to tube drained the mass of mud out and i was good to go!

loop there is a tube on the firewall that is hooked to your vent just above it try pulling it off and clean it out mine had about 9 inches of mud

99jeeper just to throw it out there, sounds like lower windshield seal. go to a car wash with a friend and have them spray around the window area, it might help show whats going on.

Where would a water leak come from under the center of the dash on my 87 YJ ?
