sorry - i know this is an old thread - did you have to remove the rear bumper to remove the silver plastic cover?

front looks cut and dry, just not alot of space to handle any tools in the rear.

TroutSafari I was wondering the same thing about the glare. When you aimed them up do they now not light up the trail ground as well in front of you? Wouldnt they light up the trees?

then i installed my clineometer

and then i installed my kc lightbar and kc lights,,the pack said comes with covers,,(same as my windshield lights) but was not there,,so i ordered some and will be here soon to match.

and everything runs off of my pillar pod,,the clineometer has a backlight also.

Do you find you get too much glare off the hood when you use the hood mounted light bar? I am thinking about getting a Delta hood mount bar.

trennmaschine Really like the white on white... I know what you mean about price, though - I bought mine for a great price but "had" to take it in Silver with a manual to get it for 25. I have more preferable colors, but the price and the fact that it was new (well, 4 miles on it) was all I needed after a short test drive.

Wow - I'm in Leesburg! Have you seen this site?
Northern Virginia Jeepers Association

I just found it while hunting some parts today - Don't know much about them, though.

TroutSafari sweet looking ride, thanks for the antenna idea and source.

dhamilton83 Nice unit. I wanted mine in white, but I got a 2010 after all the 2011 came out so the pickings were slim. The deal I got on the 2010 definatly softened the blow and I am liking the dark green now

Hemi YJ That's a really nice looking Jeep. Looks good in all white. I actually used to live in Chesapeake. I worked in Virginia Beach not to far from the Lynnhaven mall. Nice area.

seelye ^^awesome dude,,glad you got it..and thanks for the compliment..i myself am using this as a dd also so i'll probably drop an inch on my rims and go up an inch on my tires, meaning my gas millage shouldnt go down much and will still have a burly stance...the lift i think is probably more than rims and tires because i am going to do it the right way,,no budget kits,,i'll probably go with the teraflex advanced 4' lift. its like $2500..so probably wont be for a couple months since we just bought a house. but i already have my "cofee can lift jar" and its adding up fast

Hey Seelye! Just did the install! No problems using a breaker bar first then a ratchet! Wiring tucked to the side just like you said! Thanks for your input on this. Your jeep looks tight! Can't wait to see it with the new tires and wheels. I wanted to do the wheels and tires too, but will be using as daily driver and didn't think it would help gas mileage. Thanks again. Dan

If I use a ratchet with a pipe on it, do you think that will work? Also when you put them back in, were they just as hard to turn? By the way I have the same color sahara too! Very sweet white with white top! Have my soft top on now though.
06-03-2011 09:17 PM
RoxstarD I have the all white sahara also, in Tennessee here. Love the white on white with black rims have a set of mb strikers on order. Beautiful jeeps just beautiful

I will try the ratchet with the extension on it! I have every size socket but an 18mm. Lol. I will run to home depot in the morning! I hope I can get them out!

Dgdds91 Did you have a hard time getting the seat bolts loose? I can't seem to budge mine with a wrench. I am going to get a socket for a ratchet and see if that works?

How did you access the torx screws for the bracket? Did you remove the seat to do it or just did it from underneath? Sorry for all the dumb questions!
