montysu Thanks for the heads up. I wasn't by kings crossing when I entered but ill be on the look out though. Any idea what the fine is or would the cop just give a slap on the wrist?

busemans cabanis is fun. that other park is the back entrance to the one i told you about. you enter it down cimarron, by king's crossing? watch out on that one, the guy who lives in the second house will call the cops on you and give them your plate number.

montysu I went out trail hunting today. The place that I found to be the best behind bill witt park off of York town road. I'm pretty sure that's the same spot where you had sent me. But its no where near Nile road. Also found a really small trail that would be great in mudd off of Saratoga called cabaniss industrial park.

busemans whenever anyone feels like it. i put saratoga but i meant yorktown, sorry.

actually, when we go, its normally a lot of guys from calallen and robstown that meet us here to go. i have not actually seen any other bluff guys out 4x4ing anywhere but at the beach

montysu thanks for heads up. I'd like to meetup some time off of saratoga. I don't live un the bluff but I'm not far from there. Do you guys get together often?

busemans hey man, any questions you have on your jeep, hit up trucker's world over off ayers. eric, the owner, used to have a wrangler and knows alot of things about lifting and jeeps.

also, if you buy a lift your self, there are a lot of local guys who get together and mess around to put stuff together for people. a few guys from work go off-roading once in a while off saratoga, back behind the industrial park. a couple of us are wrangler guys.

if you live in the bluff, i live here also as do about 15 other jeep guys.

MPTJ There are soem places to go in Texas. I am in Kempner and where I am at is Marble Falls and others can tell you about places in their area.

As for the lift or the sound bar? It depends on what your intentions are, like rock crawling, mudding or a mall crawler. I went with the lift, wheels, and tires. I have my winch and bumper on order, awaiting arrival. It is all your choice. I do believe that it is your jeep you do to it what you want and if someone else does not like it then don't look at it or ask for a ride. That is me.

I have a 4" skyjacker lift that was almost 2G's installed but there are budget lifts out there. I would wait and save for a better lift but just depend on what you want to do. Keep us informed of how it is going.

montysu I'm really wanting to lift it. Right now there's a sound bar on it but it doesn't sound as good as I'd like. So an upgrade there would be good. I understand you get what you pay for but I don't want to break the bank. Thanks for the advice. Also any good spots to go to in Texas?

danieldlg_13 You can order most things online from companies directly or through distributors like QUADRATEC.com. Search the forum, you will find some ideas of what others have done. Welcome!
