No, the bolt on channel is what's required for the Bestop and most others with the exception of Mopar.
I got mine from Morris 4x4, likely the only place I'll order from going forward due to their customer service.... Prices seem competitive to Quadratec... And yes, there are sales running on the whole combo so I'd seriously consider doing all at one time as opposed to one piece at a time if this is the set-up you want to run.

|Kevbz||I guess I am confused as to the channel you use. I have a bolt on/clamp windshield channel now. Do I need to buy a different one and swap them out when I go from soft top to bikini?|

Unfortunately the 3 pieces don't come as a set-however sometimes you can get a "deal".
As far as ease of use- I have had a "little" top, jammer ( of some sort) and duster for about 4 years-that is all I use from March to Oct-Nov. I live an hour from MI in Indiana.
Hope this helps?
The pic with snow is the Hafl -top.

Here's mine I have the smitty built one I took these pics last summer
-I Also have the tonneau cove from smitty. I think it was 60$
-And the half tube doors from predator 4x4 I think those cost 270$
-Mirror placement mounts 20$
All of it was real easy to put on after I figured it out.took a little practice and then it becomes easy.

|TJChris27||Oh also i don't have the door surrounds so mine, like stated above, wrap around the roll bar. I've been looking all over CL to find a set because it will probably keep me a little bit more dry in the likely event of a sudden down pour|

|TJChris27||Here's mine smittybilt extended top and tonneau cover. The first time you put them on it is a PITA!! Lol just put the extended top on today for the 2nd time and it took me maybe 10 minutes lol. The tonneau cover went on for the first time today. Id say about a half hour of cursing up a storm but its on and looks good. The first time is just difficult because the fabric needs to stretch a bit. Oh and i did have ideal conditions 80 degrees and let it sit for an hour lol. Still easier than my current soft top though, just because its nearing the end of its life|

The bikini it self can be used either way. It has the plastic needed to go into the channels of the door surrounds (if you have them) which is how mine is installed, and also has wide velcro "straps" (for lack of a better term) that can be wrapped around the rollbar if you don't have the surrounds. They are probably somewhere around a foot wide so they should hold very nicely. On mine, those are just tucked between the rollbar and the bikini top.
The wraparound windjammer that I have requires the door surrounds, but Bestop also makes a standard windjammer that does not, but also leaves more space for water to get in...

I'm currently running he Bestop Bikini with the wraparound windjammer / duster.
I love the set-up. Its not 100% water tight, but I can' say that the full soft-top's been off for about a month now...
The bikini goes on in maybe 5 minutes and comes off in about 2. Well, after the first time / learning experience that is..
If you haven't try a search as well as there have been several recent informative threads on the topic.
