If you can lift it, You can fix it. I was scared s***less about pulling springs out but i would have no problem taking my Gearbox off and resealing it. If youre not comfotable take it to a reputable shop.
Not a Chain store ie Pepboys.

|polarscott||there is a seal at the bottom of the steering box if thats all thats leaking its a cheap fix recently had to havethat seal fixed on my jeep cost me with labor lik 75-80$|

Even if it is the gear you can pull it out and put a seal kit in there for around $30.00 - $50.00 Dollars, I woud make an offer aound $500.00 or so less and what they say.
You could even get a quality reman Box for aorund 2-3 hundred dollars.

but if the leak is in the resevoir then the part cost is only $45...
*edit: sorry, I was looking around some more and found this link
those are the parts and prices for the 4 cyl pump/resevoir and lines, etc... The $45 part I posted above was for the 6 cyl.

Approx how much would a new power steering box cost?
If i were to buy this
how much do you think the new power steering box owuld cost?
seems like agood deal if im gonna get seat covers, and tube fenders anyways, as long as it isnt too much for the steering to be fixed
