|DAMSTR8||If your sahara is 2000 or newer just use ngk, but anything older just get the old champion plugs. I as well as others learned the hard way with 1999 and older 4.0's. They run like crap and nothing will run for you any better than just plain ol' champions. Get the Champion truck plugs (4412) if available. They are great for the higher heat that the 4.0 is notorious for. Just stay away from all that overly hyped titanium stuff.|

|PTWarrior66||How much do garages charge for tube ups aside from oil changes. I probably could figure it all out but I'm 18 and figure I'll probably F up somewhere seeing as I already broke my battery. The garage here always has off road and 4x4 vehicles and the guy is pretty respected and trust worthy in our small town.|

Thanks for the responses everyone !
I have another question though, since I do not have jackstands or any way of lifting my jeep, will I still be able to successfully drain the fluids. I know I'll have enough room to get/work under there and everything, but will everything drain properly since it's not on a jackstand? Wish me luck !!

|Nailhead432||First off, don't replace ur brake fluid unless u got a buddy or have done it b4. I don't want u to get air in ur brake system. Second, u don't have a pcv valve, u have a fixed orfice that doesn't need to be replaced. Get champion plugs, don't fall victim of snake oil spark plugs. Good wires and cap to go along with it would be nice as well. (can't go wrong with mopar). U can drain everything into one bucket, it just better be a big bucket. |TJChris27||After putting the new fluids into the jeep put the old fluids into those containers. Well that's what i do at least i never thought that far into with chemical reactions and whatnot lol. But sounds like you got pretty much everything covered! Just be wary sometimes the haynes manual leaves out things lol. But over all its alright.|

Tune up questions/suggestions?
so I will be doing my first tune up tomorrow using my owner's manual and haynes repair manual as guides. Please let me know if you have any suggestions. Also, this is my first time doing a tune up. Here's my plan:
Drain and replace following fluids: coolant, brake fluid, manual transmission fluid, transfer case fluid, power steering fluid. I will be purchasing the recommended fluids from the owners manual.
Also, replace air filter, AC delco or Purolator.
PCV filter replacement. Any specific kind/brand to replace with?
Also will replace spark plugs.
Also plan on checking the hoses for wear and breaks but I think this is a good start for a Newb. What do you guys think? Any other suggestions on minor stuff to replace?
Also, I be will draining the fluids into an oil pan. Do I need a separate oil pan for each so as not to create a chemical reaction or am I thinking too much into this?
I will dump the fluids in a designated container/place at the local auto parts dealer afterwards. But do I need 6 diff. pans lol? Any other general suggestions or feedback would be great. Thanks so much !
