brandonchino So far it's definitely worth the $$. I can't speak much for the durability because I haven't had it for long but the quality seems pretty good. I didn't go for the sailcloth version either, which is a little bit better quality material.

Trib I'm considering one of these tops. I bought my TJ with a half top and only the two front seats. This wasn't an issue until the ex took off, now I have a two seater and two kids. In the interest of saving money(I have no top frame or back seat/seat belts) I thought this was my way to go. That being you guys like the top? Is it worth the money you spent on it? Does it hold up year 'round?

MCDavis Mating up the velcro took out the wrinkle in mine. Running with no windows right now, but gotta put them in tonight due to rain. I'll look at it then.

brandonchino Cool thanks...I haven't seen any weather since I put it on, so I guess I'll see. I am still having an issue with that wrinkle in the rear window and it's driving me nuts. I tried sinching the 2 outside straps and releasing the middle one, but that didnt work. Anything else I could try?

MCDavis I have foam on each side of my Rampage header. I left them in place, installed the header and top, and have had no leaks or problems so far.

brandonchino Thanks guys...Anyone else have the foam inserts on the header channel?

Whobeme I never had foam inserts on my Rampage header channel. Just the foam above the doors. Sorry I couldn't help.

DerekM On the window, you have to cinch up the side straps real good then keep the middle one only snug. No more ripples.

brandonchino Thanks, I got the foam inserts in the top of the door surrounds, but I am talking about the 2 inserts on the header channel itself.

Whobeme The foam is suppose to be folded length wise in a u shape and placed in the channel at the top of your door surrounds with the u being upside down. I got lucky and my rear window doesn't have that problem.

Rampage frameless top before/after and questions

Hi guys, I bought a Jeep a few months ago, I don't post much but I read the forums daily, your guys input has helped tremendously, so thank you. The install was pretty easy for a technically challenged person, haha. I just wanted to post up some pictures and I also have a question regarding the Rampage header channel. See below.

Question: The header channel came with 2 pieces of foam/rubber with a sticky side. The instructions did not mention anything about them. I peeled off the backing and placed the Channel on with the foam pieces in. Should I have taken them off, it seems wrong to leave them on. Pic below:

The rear window has a wrinkle towards the top. It seems like the middle is tighter towards the front than both sides. I tried messing with it for a bit with no luck. Any advice?
