I popped one out and figured it out. Of course, it is now a bit loose. Do they sell replacement plugs that are rubber? Seems rubber would be a tight seal and still easy to remove and install.

BTW Chief, when did you serve? My father-in-law did 30 years, mostly on subs. He was a Master Chief as well. I think he officially retired in '86 but then spent almost 20 years teaching at Great Lakes.

Tub Drain Plug Locations

I just ripped the carpet out of my 95 YJ. I want to eventually bedline it but for now just want to fix the amp and sterio swiring mess under the nasty carpet. I'm not putting the carpent back in. There are two large holes in the driver and passenger floorboard. There are no other drain plugs that I can see, unless they are painted over. There are several large spots that look like plugs that are painted the factory color with a cross on them. They appear to be silicon sealed in. Are these additional drain plugs and if so, how do I remove them? I had to jack the Jeep up from the rear to get all teh water to drain to the front 2 holes.
