I AM going to be painting the frame black and my springs red soon, when I get time off of school to do so. I'm thinking something that will last with primer base coat.
Possibly first put some POR-15 on it then cover it

|Mike5087||Yea I was thinking the same thing. Well I know I have some time to think it over. Maybe I'll go find an old spring somewhere and mess around a bit|

|Phil05LJ||I was tempted to paint the springs on my LJ the same color as the Jeep before I installed them but I didn't go through with it. I still think it would have been unique and looked different.|

|Mike5087||cool. yea I really have no intentions of doing it. but the thought had crossed my mind since I have a lift kit on the way. Like I said just a thought. thought it might be one of those little things that make it look cool!|

Painted Coil Springs?
Anyone ever paint their coil springs? If so, how did it turn out and how did the paint last? It was just one of those random thoughts I had driving today. Saw another Jeep and looked at the coils and thought, man that would be kind of neat if they were painted.. I don't know. Just a thought. Could be a dumb idea, but maybe not! What's everyone think?
