You can look up our directions for a Replace-A-Top. That's our replacement fabric for a factory frame, so it's the same as what you're doing. Go to bestop.com, find the R-a-T for your Jeep, and you'll see install guides.

|Jerry Bransford||Unwrap the top from around the header to expose the 8-10 self-tapping screws that hold the fabric to the header.|

as i recall, my bar is screwed together. i had to sandwich the material between the 2 peices, tighten the screws, then fold/fit it over the front and over the top to conform to the shape of the bar.
hopefully this makes scense

Removing soft top from frame
I have two soft tops... one is jacked with an AWESOME frame... the other is and AWESOME top with a jacke up frame.
I need to swap the good frame to the good soft top.. the question is... how to I remove the top from the windshield header?
To I just remove the rivets from the frame bars on both side and use the one on the good top?
Seems like there are rivets or some sort of connection under the sewn fold of the top to the the windshield channel of the frame.
What is the correct way to accomplish my goal?
