Scout You guys suck.

They sent the wrong ones. Twice. Now I'm starting to understand why I got such a great "deal".

FYI - In case anyone wants to know, he told me he'd sell me the 39's for $ 236 each. I said I'd have to pass.

Well at least they won't break sitting in the garage. So when are you replacing your D35?
08-28-2007 06:46 PM
AzTJ Those are already done

Scout Tires aren't here yet. They said they'd be here Friday (fingers crossed). Hopefully they'll come in and I'll be able to find someone to mount them before the weekend.

Well he's working a "deal" out with me. This is a transport company I've used in the past so he's basically charging me for the fuel only. I guess beggers can't be choosers. He's waiting on another vehicle to arrive there in El Paso to make it a full load to Dallas. Midland is only half way to Dallas so making a run here with a 3 car hauler then back to El Paso empty really isn't feasable. He promised me it would be here tomorrow. We'll see!

1BLKJP Nice work Scout. Did your junk make it back yet?
08-20-2007 06:07 PM
Scout If the black steel wheels don't sell then I'll keep them. I also still have the factory Moabs but I'm still partial to the steel wheels. I'd sell the wheels with the tires if it helped the tires sell.
08-20-2007 06:05 PM
AzTJ sweet! have you ordered any new wheels?
08-20-2007 05:52 PM
Scout Trigger = Pulled. 36x13.5 R16 Iroks are on the way. I searched online for days and after all of that I found a smoking deal with a local vendor.

Scout is happy.

1BLKJP Hell Scout. Joe was running Blue Label radial Krawlers on the JK for awhile and they even flat spotted on him every morning. Iroks are good tires and are cheaper than any other similarly sized tire. Hackle runs biased Iroks in the 39.5" variety and they last forever and are tough as hell.

Both Joe and Hackle have occasion to run their junk on the road every now and then and neither have dramatically ruined their bias tires by putting "a few" road miles on them.
