Sweet. STT here. I wonder if there are many other islanders on the forums...

guice Sure. It's a rag top, half door X. Just what I was after (other than no color -- but beggars can't be choosers on used cards); something that runs well, but old enough that I wouldn't go "owe!" every time I hit a bush.

In the aesthetics department, it can use a new top (still debating on getting one), some door straps, seat covers and probably some some mats. As for the engine, I can't say much, since I'm not a mechanic, other than starts up just find, and sounds good. I can say the v6 is quite useful in going up some of these hills here...

New Jeep owner

Finally, a new Jeep owner. Been wanting one for a while now. And with my recent move, now was better than ever to get one. So, speaking of my move; I noticed there's no sub-forum for my area (and the registration forced me to pick an area). I moved down to the Virgin Islands -- and I have to say, this place is why they make Jeeps! I'm pretty shocked there's no VI sub-forum given the sheer number of Jeeps here. I swear it's like 50% of the vehicle population! (okay, closer to 30-40, but it's pretty bloody high).

Any case, Hi. I'm a recent new owner of a 2005 Jeep Wrangler X. I told myself my next car will be a wrangler for a good 8 years or more. Well, sold my last car (not an island car), and figured I couldn't get any better opportunity. Now, I have a Jeep! Hi.
