That would be true, but how much does one spend on a cold air intak today (not from ebay)? How much for a 62mm throttle body? Overall the cost of the unit is not that prohibitive in my mind from the cost one already spends on these products.

Besides for the question that was asked the from the user in question he already has both the throttle body and the intake so those would not need to be purchased.

lcpl Konicki Well I have a 2.5 on my jeep and bought a 63mm throttle body and spacer and milled out my intake and now my jeep acts congested and my down shift for passing is all jacked up -however my top end is higher,soo I'm figuring that I need something to tell my computer to give it more gas! I'm also gona put an exhaust system on her to help with the increased air flow i'm getting and to make it sound like is has some nuts.

BigMike I saw a resistor on e-bay for like 89 cents lol i guess it over rides the computer and you get more horsepower and whatnot...i saw some good reviews as well as bad reviews...you can find them on ebay without a problem

calpher For the amount of horsepower/torque gain you get they are not worth it. Better to spend your money on other upgrades like a cold air intake and throttle body spacer.
