Crazypainter27 Own my own painting business. As much as most people gate painting, I find it gratifying. I enjoy making people happy.

The bosses were off today so I did a little "Office Space" experiment. I did nothing all day. I sat at my computer and watched every Jeep video out there on YouTube. I feel so worn out tonight from not doing any thing all day. I also feel like I cheated the company out of a days worth of pay. That in my book is the same as stealing.

I was raised to have a good work ethic and will continue to be a hard worker. I know some people that literally work harder to get out of work than if they had just done their job in the first place.

So now that I know how it feels to be a worthless slacker, I'll have more self gratification at the end of a "work" day.

I believe that if you include that info on that part of the application (where it asks if you've ever been convicted blah blah blah), and be honest about it, and you meet the minimum quals, you may still be considered. That of course doesn't mean you've got the job. The process our PD uses when hiring a new officer is very extensive and they dig deep into your past and present when it comes down to the background check. But if the charge was from yeeeeaaaarrrs ago and you've been clean since, then yeah, I'd say you have as good a shot as someone else vying for the job.

Maybe not but you do qualify to be a rapper, pro football player or Hollywood actor.
