i bought a frame kit off ebay for the rear arches and a friend did the welding after i did the prep work(removing parts and grinding surfaces clean), we had to do some trimming but it went on good. i also had a bit of a crack developing where the parking brake runs through the frame under the drivers door so i bought some flat stock (3/16") and he welded that also. it's not pretty but it's functional. it was a 2 day job.

r goeckel we're tough eastsiders! the news about flint is always worse than actuality. and it depends on where you live. the nice thing is great people, close to the north, not crowded. and we can be off road as soon as we leave our driveway!!!

Flint Mich. says HI

just bought a 93 YJ 4 banger and had to replace the tranny and weld a few frame areas. she's up and running good now. not bad for under a grand. bit rusty and rough but so am i. just a second driver not offroad. just the wife and i and we're getting older but still like to have fun vehicles. we have a '77MGB also.
