jp2611 My best Guess is no-check the sticky thread on death wobble-whole lot of other things could be causing the problem rather than just tires and wheels. I know that it is possible for a drive shaft to show a "shimmy" but think it is very rare. Understand rebalanced-how about rotated? If so did shimmy start after rotation? If not maybe try rotation see if it goes away? Should either confirm or eliminate (maybe) tires wheels as a possible issue.

New Shimmy

Driving a 2007 Wrangler sahara unlimited - have had a 4" lift in for two years, and just recently developed a shimmy between 30km & 50km, seems to go away after 50km. Have had the tires rebalance and sticky weight checked. Everything is good there - could this be a u-joint or driveshaft problem?
