Jolly Jeepers 2012 annual "Back to Basics" Rally

Jolly Jeepers are having their annual 2012 “Back to Basics” Rally on July 21st and 22nd. I hear this is a good event to go to. You can go out with different groups, vehicles and run different trails. It will give you a great opportunity to see how other vehicles can run trails and obstacles. You can learn allot watching others. You can camp free; get a room in Tillamook, or drive back home. The Base Camp area is off Hwy 6 at Mile Marker 8. If you are interested in going sign up soon as it is limited to 101 applications.

Scouting and Exploration Fun Run

Scouting and Exploration Fun Run on Saturday Nov 12th, 2011. We will gather at the Chevron that is at Mile Marker 15 off SR14 in Camas/Washougal Washington. This run is gravel roads, steep climbs, and small rock crawling. However low clearance wranglers are welcome and will do just fine.

A Washington “Discover Pass” and “NW Forest Pass is “required” where posted. I recommended that you have them in case we enter areas that they are required to have.

We will drive east on SR14 and scout the areas north of Bonneville Dam, Beacon Rock and Stevenson, Washington. The plan is to explore the Aldrich Butte, Three Corner Rock, and Greenleaf Peak areas. Of course that depends on time and how many vehicles show up.

Bring water, food, money, and dress for the changing weather.

Gather at 09:30am
Depart at 10:00 am
Chevron Gas Station
Jimbo’s Deli Mart East
165 C St Washougal, WA 98671

n2jeepn We are going to one thread for our group instead of 4 threads. The thread is located in the Oregon Forum. WranglerForum “sticky” the thread so it will always show up at the top. The thread is titled “SW Washington & NW Oregon Group”

From now on let’s start using it. The below link will take you there.
