Or maybe the hair on my knuckles is just too coarse.

|Therunner||Picked up some straps at Home Depot for about $5. They should work fine, I normally just leave the window all the way out and home, but longer trips and our summer rain here in sunny South FL make me feel beeter having the window with me.|

Ahh, I dont go to the trouble of rolling it up, I simply flip it up onto the roof! Takes 1/2 second instead of 20 seconds to roll up, and gives even more opening
But then maybe I'm just lazy LOL

Personal opinion here... The velcro straps used to hold the Sunrider open are not required - have many many miles with the Sunrider open and have never used the straps. In fact, they are joined together and wrapped around the drivers side roll cage and seat belt to stop it flapping when the window is open.
As for the rear loops, the idea is to unzip to the top then roll the window up and place it in the loops. Have tried this and it hangs to low and moves around a lot. Found it very annoying, as well as the constant moving will scratch the window very quickly. I just unzip 95% of the way then let it flop down into the back. Takes much less time and has much better vision.

|Therunner||I looked in the glove compartment as well as the console when I first got the jeep. New car and all, I had to push every button and look in every compartment. lol Guess I'll go back to the dealer. The dealership is only a mile from the house anyway. I don't mind buying better ones, I just want what they owe me. When I get home I will have to look for those elatic loops for the rear window.|

|scolumbo||Yep, you should have gotten 2 velcro straps for the soft-top. Mine were in a plastic bag in the center console. You could easily make some from a roll of velcro but your dealer owes them to you so I would demand them from the dealer. For the rear window, you should have 2 elastic loops (not velcro) that are snapped onto the top on the inside.|

This is my first jeep so I am learning as I go. It seem to me from what I have read that my new JK should have come with some Velcro Straps to hold the Sunrider top as well as roll the rear window. I can't seem to find any straps. Should there be straps? Where would they be? Do I need to call the dealer and ask them WTF?
