DOMINUS Well the dealer finally called me to come in to order my Jeep. Took them long enough. I'm heading there now.

And I'm 5-6 from Buffalo. That's about 16hrs-17hrs. I plan to be on vacation for that week anyway so the time/distance won't be a problem. Thanks guys for the input. Didn't mean to hijack your thread cremaley. Sorry about that.

JIMBOX There is no requirement for a "HEMI" option offered with the JK/JKU jeep, unless you plan on entering NASCAR/WINSTON circuits--

From what I hear, they will be offering the 5sp auto /w the "Jesus" engine--However, i'm afraid they will still stay with the 4.10 diff gears--and even with the new tranny-it won't do the trick---there's still gonna be re-gearing !!

Do they build them in the same order in which they are ordered?

I tried but I ended up at 2%. Fine by me. Plus they agreed to sell me mopar stuff at wholesale as a one time offer. So my half doors will be cheaper, along with other stuff.

The interesting part of the whole discussion was when I asked for better than 1% below invoice. Their biggest worry: Chrysler would not give them the 2% if they strayed from the 1%. They called and found out that wasn't true and off we went.
