rbraden1970 I have been trying to decide if I wanted to by a high lift jack. I keep finding more and more other uses to get you back home that it seems worth it. My factory jack has been more than enough to change a tire so far. I have the Dana 35C and have looked at the different devices that one could use to keep the wheel from leaving but that is all that they really can be used for. So I guess the high lift has move back up towards the top of the wish list.

dan188 wow, I saw pictures on here a long time ago of another guy who did the same thing... it seems like the high-lifts are used for everything except actually lifting, haha. I carry mine, but haven't used it.

High Lift Jack

A friend found another use for his high lift jack after the 35C broke on the trail. He made it home, 31 miles, with it stopping every now and then to oil the side wall to help. Starting to learn all the other things that the high lift can be used for.
