non-JJ ends use a poly bushing that puts more stress on the system and doesnt allow as mush flex as JJ ends.
if you get any flex pics, that would be helpful!

I bought my Jeep about 2 months ago and the previous owner had just put on a RC 6" LA kit and 35s. I have had some trouble with the jeep but not with the kit yet. I broke the rear passenger side shock mount the first two times out but it was to blame on these stupid shock shifting brackets that were on there (pointed out by members on here, Im new to Jeeps and thought they were stock). It rides a bit rougher then my friends blazer with a 6" lift from another company but not unbearable at all. I was surprised at the handling after I got the jeep home. I test drove a couple of 4" lifted jeeps that swayed more and felt more top heavy honestly.
Ive only done about 500 miles of driving on the Jeep since I bought (down twice for the shock mount, and now Im doing a SYE and some other lil stuff the p.o. left out) and Im happy with it. I havent dico'd yet to see flex potential. I dont really serious wheel, not yet any way, so the kit does me just fine.

BTW and sorry for the jack, but since Im trying to learn can some one tell me a lil bit more about JJs? I think I pretty much figured it out from context and the pics but itd be nice.

|just4fun||Its a bit rough on the road with no weight in the back. And the rear sway bar could be bigger. I wish I went with the 4 " long arm kit and different fender flairs but I didn't so it works for me.(top heavy) I would recommend better sway bars or new stock replacement bushings. I do notice that when I have extra weight in the jeep (camping gear tools) full size spare and back bumper ( just added them) it has better road manners then when empty. I run it as light as I can around town no back seat or tools. For the haters of the rc brand they would say it rides like $hit.|

Currie arms have "johnny joints" on both ends...
Rough Country has similar joint on 1 end...traditional bushing on the other..

|IndyJeepMan||Johnny Joints on both ends will give you less stress on the mount which I'm sure is the frame side. You would benefit from a double JJ set-up.|

|Ibuildembig||A JJ in both ends wouldnt give me any more travel....and speaking of that, you can have too much flex. I shrunk it down to about 48 inches.|

|just4fun||What are you talking about not alot of flex.man I stuff my 35s deep into the fender wells and the tires don't leave the ground as often as the short arm kit.everyone that I wheel with can't believe its a rc lift cause how good it works.I wish the talk about my lift is junk would stop cause if you haven't used there new long arm kit then zip it until you do. Im not locked I don't have a ton of cash in my jeep it goes anywhere that the guys I wheel with take there hi dollar jeeps and im on a smaller tire.|

|Mortalis5509||RC long arms isn't going to flex as good as a long arm kit with JJ's at both ends. In suspension you get what you pay for. Now I have RC but a short arm. I'm in the process of putting rear upper and lower control arms with jj's from Currie on my TJ, reason being I'm doing a tummy tuck. The rubber bushing will bind slightly as they flex and will put more stress on the mounting point. A good quality short arm like Rokmen or Currie will do just as good as a long arm and you can do the work your self. Short arms won't hang up in the rocks like a long arms can. Do short arms, trim some sheetmetal, tummy tuck, mml, all coil spring lift no puck, out board rear shocks, and you will be giving someone with a long arm a run for there money. Not to mention you will have a low center of gravity.|
