lunaras I want to put an in-dash computer in my rig eventually and surveillance cameras are on my list of must-haves for it. I plan on making it so it will upload videos to me whenever an open wi-fi connection is available. Either that or I'll add a cell connection for video uploads, streaming music, etc. That way, if it is ever stolen or it's wrecked or something, I don't have to worry as much about if I have possession of the Jeep to get the videos.

MP92 Yeah. It's a great idea. Putting the DVR in a tuffy console. It will also help against abusive police officers as well in court of law. I wish had a computer working or I would put up the websites. I'm stuck on my android for now :/

Austen I would love that secure setup you mentioned. I would love to read a note that says: "Dear @$$ hole. Smile, your every move is being recorded. By now if you are reading this note I am probably standing right behind you with a pistol pointed at your worthless head loaded with hollow point defense rounds."

MP92 Anyone have an in-car(jeep) video surveillance.? For insurance, accidents and security? I know there is a blackbox that can mount near the mirror and it records interior, front exterior, audio and gps location and speed but I feel that it would be to easy for someone just to take the SD if it was thefted. maybe a hard drive in a security console? And pin hole cameras?
