i'm trying to get it register in VA, i'm in ny now, and i'll stay there for at least two months.
My budget doesn't allow me to go back and forth.
Jeep is in ny, and i can't drive it as it's not registered, so i plan on taking a bus to va to register it

|mattjm1017||are you trying to get your jeep registered in va or NY if your trying for VA the only way to get any type inspection sticker is to come to VA and get your jeep inspected. What states plate did you put on it?|

just called the dmv once again, what a wait.
It seems a rejection sticker will work as well to get it register.
Would it be easier to get a rejection sticker??

|mattjm1017||No way not unless you find an inspector that is super shady. None of my friends that ara state inspectors would even consider doing that.|

Safety and emissions inspection
So i got a little of a situation here.
I just bought a 1989 wrangler in nyc, i already put my plates on it. I tried to get it inspected in NY with no luck, as the previous owner took the registration sticker and without it, no one will give me an inspection sticker.
I did contact the dmv, and there's no way i can drive the car until it's registered.
So here's my question, do you know anybody who could grant me an inspection sticker in VA without me bringing the car? I can't drive it, and it will take me quite a while to save for a truck+trailer.
Dmv is ok to give me a registration for one month if i don't have a sticker, but it will cost more, and i can't go back and forth ny to va just for a registration.
I understand it sounds fishy, but i'm trying to save as much money as i can.
Ps: i'll be living in nyc for few months before i get back to VA, so the jeep is gonna stay in NYC
