rmed4defense When I got new tires, the tire shop (Discount Tire) asked me for the key. I had it, so it was no big deal. Found it in the console.

RatherBNarizona I had locking lugs on my previous vehicle. Look carefully for the key, all the usual spots. I think some tire shops may be able to get them off

JDsDream Welcome to the Forum

Apparently the po had locking lugs put on. If you are lucky you will probably find the key for them in the console, glove box or with the lug wrench.

Good luck.

Intro question and comment

Hey all,

First let me say thanks for many of your post, although I finally signed up today I've been reading folks post and gotten many answers to my questions, by other users post...

Second, allow me to say that I am new to the jeep world and I was recently introduced to the jeep slogan Just Emty Every Pocket... This seems to be my case, I have recently had to replace the radiator, the front drive shaft, blinker control module, and now it looks like the tie rod ends have gone bad.

I now have the death wobble, I believed it was the steering stabilizer, but after reading post on here and searching the web it seems it's because of the tie rods. The do wiggle and according to a video on utube they are the culprit. So if anyone has a post that says how to change them that would be helpful.

The reason for my post is though, I found the jack and lug nut wretch, but it doesn't fit my lug nuts and I saw that one of each of the nuts has a special lock type nut. I have no manual that came with my jeep, so I have no information on it. Is there a location that this would be hidden like the jack was under e seat? All help is appreciated thanks..
