newly claimed 94

Hi guys, I too just bought a 94 yj, I couldn't be happier. It's not perfect, but It's mine and I love it. It's got 130,000 miles and a little rust around the rocker panels, but hey, it gives it caracter. Because of it's condition I'm going to be busy for many years, with a smile on my face. I hope to get to know you all soon.

Dare2BSquare An hour of a mechanic's time would be well worth the investment.

debruins Welcome to WF

when you get your jeep remember the jeep wave!

and 150,000 is fina as long as it is qwell t aken car of, i would only buy a high mileage car liek that if it came with maintnence records, but thats just me, you could bring it to a mechanic and have them check it completely as well

if it is well maintained it will go for like 250,000

whiteyj As Levinoss said I would not be so worried about the mileage. Back there, I would be much more worried about rust on a 13 year old vehicle.

Even out here in Cali, I drove several and looked at many more before buying my 94. Depending on who had it and what they did to it a great deal of bad can be done to a 13 year old YJ.

Welcome to the forum and good luck with your purchase. Plenty of help around here once you take the plunge.

catcher29 Thanks Lev. The Carfax on the vehicle came back clean, but I would like to take a look under the hood, check it out further, etc. I really only want to use it for the next three years as a commuter, and then at that time "upgrade" to a later model.

Psyched to be hopping aboard...

Levinoss 150k should be fine depending on if it was taken care of.
