|Master_Splinter||Awesome! That's what I was thinking! But unfotinatly after running threw some basic questions with the seller I found out there's quite a bit wrong with the jeep and has no ac, not that it doesn't work, but it never came with it. Even though the ad says there's nothing wrong and it runs great. So looks like im still searching. Please lmk if anyone finds anything! Thanks!|

|Master_Splinter||Thanks alot dude! Im gonna have go check out that wrangler tomorrow! As long as it checks out ill be driving it home! So like I said im a mechanic therefore can do all the needed work myself and every car Ive ever owned has been motor swapped and built (90 CRX w/ JDM B16 ported heads B20 bottom end prelude throttle body fully gutted it ran mid 12's and was alot of fun, then a 05 WRX w/ a built STI 2.5 ported heads and manifolds 18g turbo STI top mount fuel pump injectors etc. Est. 310whp again a very fun car that I still own its just stuck in az currently) so my question is what motors can I swap into a 95 wrangler that can be somewhat built? Thanks again!|

|XJ Knight||Let me also add that imo there is no better car buying search site on the net then www.autotempest.com and quick search led me to this 1995 Jeep Wrangler.. Good Luck in your search and keep us updated|

The I4 only has two real complaints.. It strugles on inclines both on and offroad.. The other is it is not the best on highways due to it's lack of power. Obviously due to the lack of power the I4 puts out that is why it doesn't fair well on inclines as well. For city driving and most of your offroading obstactles to witch from what I can tell you don't plan on offroading right away the I4 is just as good as the legendary Jeep I6.
You will have trouble finding even a decent YJ at that price but deals are out there to be had, you just got to look around and be patient..

|old_blue||i know people with 4 cylinder that are perfectly happy with it. You may find a jeep for 2500 but it's probably gonna be a an old bone stock yj|

|Master_Splinter||Thanks for ur concern but I actually like nj better az so far. The heat there was killing me! As for the otherwise comment. Why would I get rear ended? Are they really that slow? Im a mechanic so I dont mind doing some work on it just need something to get me around town for now.|

As a fellow New Jerseyite transplant, let me apologize on two counts:
1.) I'm sorry you gave up AZ for NJ.
2.) You will NOT find an even tolerable wrangler for $2500 around here.
Anything with an I6 (the 4cly will get you rear ended on anything but backroads) under 100k miles with less than catastrophic body/frame rust is going to be $5k and up. Maybe $4k if you get a private seller who has to move the vehicle on a schedule.
