Mole Lake Trails Days

Per the previous post in the "Wisconsin Jeepers" thread:

In 2006, the Wisconsin Off-Highway Vehicle Association (WOHVA) was granted exclusive access to over 4000acres of land on the Mole Lake Indian Reservation (located just 8 miles outside of Crandon, Wisconsin). WOHVA hosts two trail rides each summer (Northwoods-Mole Lake Jeep Jamboree USA & Great Northern Trail Ride).

Additionally, WOHVA hosts numerous Mole Lake Trails Days on weekends all summer long. In 2011, WOHVA will be hosting Mole Lake Trails Days on 10 weekends between May 1st & September 1st.

WOHVA events are a great way to spend two full days trail riding. Our Trails Days are an outstanding way to spend a day on the trail for relatively low cost (food & fuel).

These are actual Jeep Trails...designed & developed for Jeeps by Jeep owners! These aren't some abandoned gravel pit or powerline right-or-way. These are Jeep trails, developed within the boundaries of a 4200 acre northern Wisconsin forest.

You can find more information on these trails and how you too can enjoy them on the WOHVA website at Home (all the details are available in our "Events and Trail Rides" Forum in the Mole Lake Trails Days Thread. Or, email your name, address, city, state & zipcode to WOHVA at info@WOHVA.com to be added to our mailing list (and receive information on our Great Northern Trail Ride).

The short answer is that the trails are open to the public only on the two aforementioned event weekends. Only WOHVA Individual Members have access to the trails on Trails Days. Guests are allowed, but for insurance reasons only WOHVA Individual Members may ride the trails.

1997sport John,

I see on your website that June 25th is WOHVA Trails Day in Mole lake .
Could you explain what that means??

Is it members only reserved??? are trails open to public?? I live in Stevens Point and will be new to off-roading....I'm considering the Jeep Jamboree in July but $600 plus lodging is alot for me to shell out to just find out if this is something our family wants to do. Thanks, Jeff
