A few more pics -
here I learned to take the trailer hitch off when I got hung on it . . .
The camp site (great view - caught a few trout with the boy too) . . .
this is what made the wife uncomfortable - the looking down a few hundred feet out the window on some of the really narrow trails . . . .

I never saw another regular vehicle up top - it was all ATVs. I'm sure others go up but not that day. I did meet a Toyota JF on the way down, but he wasn't even 1/4 of the way up the trail. Kinda wondered if he made it to the top.
Good time, though. The skid plates earned their money that day, but no signs of anything going wrong at all.

Well, for some reason, it won't show the photobucket links. Never had that problem before. It won't let me edit now, so I'll try again in a minute.
See if that worked

Jeep trip to CO - playing in the JK
Took the family on a camping / jeeping trip to CO. Had a ball. Stayed out near the Mt Anteros trailhead at a campsite. Went up Mt Anteros on the second day. Roug ride for the wife and kids, but we had a ball. Got the Jeep up to 13,800 before the wife said "no more." She got a little upset because of the steep dropoffs, but was still a trooper for her first real trail trip. A few pics below. BTW - the sled handled averything the trail threw at it without any hint of problem. Looking forward to going that last few hundred feet next year!
