Good luck with that.

XJ Knight Warn is the best but the Xrc's are good and last a long time as well

s3nt3nc3d You are basically asking us to advise you on whether to purchase a Ford Focus or a Chevy Corvette...when you can more or less afford either one. Think about it...lol

lisazhang there are many brandw winch in the market,,choice a winch ,if you want cheaper,XRC8.0 is ok,,if you want the fastest winch,,xdyna winch two speed is ok,in high speed,28m/min

WarBoomer The new cheaper warns I'm sure are great...wish they were around when I purchased my winch, but, I have a smitty xrc 8 comp and I have nothing but good to say about it. It has been a regular champ. I've probably had about 9 real pulls with it (REAL STUCK!), and while it's not the fastest in the world, it gets the job done. I wanted synthetic line also so in the long run the smitty was for me.

TheTJRod Why is this in the Builders corner?

Go warn if you got the extra cash. That new warn was made for no other reason than to be a rival of the inexpensive smittybilt winches.

Jeepoffroad04 Here comes some more bashing of smittybilt... Just get the warn winch im not going to say anything more but smittybilt is ok but warn is the best

cavediverjc Do a quick forum search. This topic has been debated a million times. I have a Warn and would recommend it to anyone. I don't have a Smittybilt, so I can't recommend it, nor can I condemn it. However, there is usually a reason for a product's price. A Ferrari costs more than a Ford Fiesta for a reason. Pay the extra $$ for the Warn and you won't regret it.
