Better Late Than Never

Hey, Bill! I'm sorry it has taken me so long to respond to your posting. Due to job constraints, I haven't been able to be on the forum for a few months. The other day was my first day back. You are absolutely correct about the persistent "breeze" up on top of the mountain. It's obvious you know very well some of the opportunities for off-roading in Garrett County. In fact, we'll be going out tomorrow for an easy "spin" on the Poplar Lick Off Road Trail off of Maryland Route 495. n Monday we'll be up on Dolly Sods. Let me know how you ending up leaving this "playground" for sunny Florida! As you recall, we only have an average of 143 days of sunshine a year!

To Hmenker..ultimate jeep climb

Hi Mr. Menker..was just wondering if you have ever tried getting your Jeep up the cut wall at Keysers ridge ? Or, mounting a mast an sail on top of your jeep when traveling Sand Flats road to increase gas mileage....I don't believe the wind ever blows less than 70mph there....Just kidding...

Just wanted to say hello to a back home fellow..

Bill in Jacksonville Fla.
