Jdobel Well I did unrelated things like the windshield washer and some rot the po replaced tie rod ends ball joints ect trying to fix the problem so the rest of the front end is fairly new the 2 joints on the steering shaft are causing some play plus I need a new directional lever so I'm just gonna replace the whole column

Fix loose steering....check

Well I put a new steering box in last night. What a difference I can drive with one hand again lol. Now I just gotta replace the column to get rid of the rest of the play
