Labor Day Weekend

Went up to canoe camps over Labor Day Weekend, to enjoy some rustic camping. Filled up at gas station at highway entrance and filled up when I got off 102 miles, 5.3 gallons of gas. This was pulling a 8 foot pop-up at 60mph in fifth gear. Had a blast, beautiful weekend weather wise. Left the top at home and just had the bikini top with us. Picked up some chevy tow hooks and brush gaurd with KC lites for 22 bucks at a garage sale. Camped right on the river and cooked on an open fire all weekend. Took the jeep every where, got lost two tracking one nite for about an hour till we finally reconized where we were. Taught the nine year old how to drive the jeep, actually just steer, I was working the pedals. I learned by driving my dad's 63 Willys Station Wagon when I was about that age. Had A "GREAT WEEKEND" with friends and just getting out of town. Sorry to see the summer ending, especially when it comes tme to put the hard top back on!
