Nickabis I did see a wrangler with the snowboard rack mounted to the hood. I didn't get a picture but it had 4 boards on it. I will try to find it again because I also need a way to mount my boards as well.

Converting walmart Temporary Mount to permanent

Im 16, just getting my license, and realized I really need a snowboard mount. I have a 1990 Jeep Wrangler YJ with a hard top.

I bought "Reese Bar Mount" temporary bar mounts from Walmart for $30. I would link it, but for some reason they do not have it on the website.

I would like to make it permanent, but the mounting supports are plastic, and I cannot think of a way I can do this without totally rebuilding the mounting supports.

I am hoping someone on here has purchased these and done this before, but if not, I still have the receipt.

If you cannot help, could you point me to a home-made or cheap mount system that would work good with multiple snowboards?

Thanks!
