Hey everyone. Im in Madison. Anyone know of a driveshaft place other than RCOR? I have been trying to find a vibe and cannot kill it. All parts are new and tight. I have a 2.5OME lift, 1.25 BL, 1" MML, HP30, SYE, DC shaft, and 8 Savvy arms. I have had the DS set every way possiable, and cannot kill the vibe. The trans mount is new. Only thing I have not checked is DS balance.

Headed down to Stony Lonesome (most likely) this coming Friday (11/22). Meeting up with some folks who attended the jamboree where I was a trail guide. Gonna hit up some more trails and have some more fun.
Just got the Jeep cleaned up from the jamboree... time for more dirt I guess.

This is the closest address I can find. If you travel through 5points going up the mountain on 72 the land truss is on the left just past tollgate rd. I think the address is
2459–2475 Bankhead Pkwy NE
Huntsville‎ Alabama‎ 35801
If you look at an aerial view and just follow 72 up the mountain you can see the clearing.

|ron4jon||I'm an old fart also - with a new JKU Sport (Maroon paint). And we 3 grandsons who like to ride in Jeeps. We pick them up and drop them off real often to get them to their various activities. Their dad has a JK 2d as well. We live in the Huntsville/Monrovia area and we travel between here and Madison a LOT and see Jeeps EVERY time we're out driving. Most wave back. Haven't seen too many Jeeps in Huntsville.|

Update, went to Hale Monday.
No Jeeps around, a few ATVs.
Went up main trail to five points, hooked around to right, went on up, turned around and came back the same way. The check in said that was the main route. Some pretty intense trails out there for sure. I could see myself bonking and scraping through lots of them. I'd want to be done with skids before doing a lot of those connectors / rocks.
I wouldn't necessarily take a newbie ride there if it was wet. Right now, pretty much everything is dry except up top and in a few shady spots. So it's a pretty safe newbie ride to stay on the "roads" ;-)
That icon pic is in the middle of five points, turning on to the steep, shelfed road that goes straight up. I didn't run that trail, too much without a spotter and probably winch or tug.

I won't have skids how I'd like them for a while, so I would stick to the newbie roads and "drive arounds" until things are set up like I want.
Sounds like fun even though you got a few bonks.
I live out toward that park... I should probably ride out there and tool around the roads just to get a feel for the place.
