Not true - a high flow cat can be installed as long as it is DOT & emissions approved, most of which are.

A high flow cat won't do much unless the rest of the exhaust is just as big. But Nico, I'd check with local laws and see if the manufacturers specs are within tolerance.

nicolas-eric that´s why i ask if it works like the stock things.
every 2nd year the government conrols if the exhaust gases are as ok. and if it works as good as the stock catalytic converter it will be ok.
and if it looks like the stock one they will not notice it.

i have a very loud glasspack muffler that looks like the stock muffler and they didn´t notice it.

debruins im nto sure if ti works as well as a stock one, but it is supposed ot increased performance and sound better b/c there s less restriction
i cant imagine theyt would let you put one on in germany, even on the us it is illegal unless the old cat is broken

whats the advantage of a high flow catalytic converter?
does it work as good as the stock catalytic converter?
