MTH The tires you're proposing will be about a half inch shorter and not even a half inch wider than the stock tires that come on a Rubicon. I'd be very surprised if they didn't fit fine.

thenorsepole Welcome to the forum.

I'm not as knowledgeable as some of the other folks on this forum, but my stock tires are 255/75/17's. I don't think your Duratracs would pose any issues requiring further mods.

If I'm wrong, we'll find out soon enough.

Potential New Owner, Quick Tire Question

Currently an FJ owner and formerly an H3 owner. Prior to that, I have owned at least 5 wranglers starting from 1987 and last being in 2000. I am seriously thinking about buying an Unlimited and would like to know if I can place my current GY Wrangler DuraTracs (LT265/70/17) with less than 10,000 miles on a stock Wrangler Unlimited Sport with stock 17" rims. I'd prefer not to have to use wheel spacers or perform other modifications. Thanks in advance. I look forward to learning as much as I can about the newer Wranglers thru this forum.
