drjay I think Elgringo is right. For the difference in dollars I should wait on a 2012 or 2013. Thanks for the replies.

oilwell1415 Your warranty will be fine with Banks parts. They are one of the few companies out there that will actually go to bat for you if you have warranty coverage denied because of their parts, and in the unlikely event that their parts are shown to have caused the probelm Banks will cover the repairs for you. They are a reputable company, although I don't think their parts provide a very good return on your investment.

El Gringo It should only void the warranty on the replaced parts. as for the chip, that may void the warranty for the computer, which is very expensive (and apparently not manufactured anymore). 29k seems a little steep for a used jeep that has clearly been taken offroad. Unless you want the parts, the value is just not there, to me at least. If you like your 07, I would start putting money into that instead of buying a new jeep.

SilverSport Since the bumper to bumper warranty is 36 months/36K miles, why would the warranty be void on a 2010 with less than 10K miles?

Banks Performance Parts

Today I test drove a 2010 Rubicon with 9,600 miles on it. Perfect condition except from some trail marks underneath. Problem: It had banks performance intake, performance chip, monster exhaust and headers I think. The muffler was way to loud, and low end performance sucked. My 2007 JK has better low end performance. They said the waranty was still good but I think not. Any comments would be appreciated. They want 29K for it. If the waranty is void, I want no part of it.
