|Curro||8" rim is def safe and actually preferred.. You wouldnt need a wider rim until you get into 13.5" wide and bigger tires..|

|berniefpfc17||Thanks Irongrave another good question about 15 inch rims ,although Discount tire did say that the mb72 rims in 15 inch did work on the jk.|

|Irongrave||Cheep beadlock run the 8s. narrow wheels will hold the bead of the tire a lot better when aired down. However you are in a JK I think you need 16s or 17s to clear the calipers as most 15s dont fit|

rim size and 35 inch tires.
I was looking to get BFGoodrich 35/12.50x15 tires, but I don't know if an 8 inch rim is safe or do I need a 10 inch rim. I was looking at the 8 inch mb72 or the black rock d window 8 or 10 inch rim. The specs call for an 8.5 inch rim minimum but I have heard that other people have used an 8 inch. I just want to do it right and safe. Thanks in advance.
