tarheel I have an old Kenwood that I replaced awhile back. It has an RCA input as well as an input for an amp. I ordered the cord that plugs into the amp slot and with an iPod/iPhone connection. It plays excellent and also charges the device. Email me if interested in the radio or cord, etc (rightbrained2@gmail.com). I'll check to see which Kenwood it is.

That would be preferred, but there are no other inputs on the rear. Is there some trick with Kenwoods? It's a KDC-MP245.

Wheel2Work Direct input is clearer, but the FM transmitters work just fine too... Depends on how you want to hook things up! You can hardwire the aux in on most Kenwoods, but the FM will be quicker and easier... Reads as, you won't have to pull the stereo to accomplish it

BigGreen98 I just use an fm transmitter with my I phone 4 works pretty good..... At least for me it does. But it's not allways a perfectly clear signal but it's not bad.

iPhone hookup

Looking for the best way to get my iPhone to the radio. The aux input for my Kenwood took a crap, and I'm not in the position to buy a new stereo. I have heard of FM transmitters, anyone have any opinions? Debating if the extra money for bluetooth is worth it, as I'll need to have the phone on a charge anyways for lo

Are there any bluetooth receivers that plug inline with the antenna, out of sight? Couldn't find one with my google search

Thanks
