Newb TJ owner Lawrence, Kansas

First time Jeep owner here, excited to do some modding and looking forward to making some new friends that love Jeeps. I live in Lawrence, Kansas, as my title states, and am looking to do some wheeling around here if anyone knows of any good spots, and/or upcoming wheeling trips pm me.

I should probably point out that I am not entirely new to wheeling this is my 2nd 4x4 that I intend to build up and wheel the heck out of. Unfortunately, I thought it'd be a great idea to buy a 2007 Toyota FJ. It was easy to work on in some ways and I realized that I love working on my vehicles and customizing them. Most importantly I fell in love with wheeling and meeting 4x4 enthusiasts with similar interests. Farewell Toyota:


Back in April I purchased my 1999 Black TJ Sahara. Bought her with 78k miles and slapped a 4" lift kit, and got a great deal on some used 15x8 Dick Cepek wheels, wrapped with 33" Mickey Thompson MTZ. Not sure what I want to do next I love it currently and may just buy things as I need them. I am still a student and got to watch the spending, which with a Jeep I feel like it's impossible. Anyways sorry for the long intro if you are in the Kansas City area, Topeka, or Lawrence area PM me. Here's my jeep as she sits now:
